The Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements

One of the first books that Dr. Ladd McNamara told me about was the Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements. The Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements, now in its Fourth Edition, was written by Lyle MacWilliam, a former member of the Canadian Parliment. He has evaluated thousands upon thousands of nutritional supplements brands according to the completeness, potency, purity, absorbability, and safety, and ranked them according to what several different experts in the field of nutritional experts have said should be in a supplement.

Lyle MacWilliam also provides much information about the science behind quality supplements, so that you as a consumer can make an intelligent choice when purchasing a product.

This was the reasoning Dr. Ladd McNamara taught me, ..the same reasoning he used with his patients that made sense to me; as he said: WHY are you buying a nutritional supplement if it is not to improve your health? If you are buying a nutritional supplement to make a difference in your health then you would want to make sure it is actually working ...doing what it says it supposed to do ... has what it actually says it has on the bottle, that the ingredients are actually used by your cells, right? Otherwise, why buy the supplement in the first place? Why waste your money if you don't know the supplement is actually of high quality, rather than just the cheapest thing on the shelf.

What you are truly looking for is a value, a nutritional supplement that you can trust! When you find a brand that you can trust, then you are taking something that will make a difference in your health.

I would encourage you to get this book. Feel free to contact me at dcasey@usana.com and I'll be glad to assist you in choosing a quality supplement to help you maintain optimal health based upon third-party verification.
